HSMAI’s Commercial Strategy Conference is the evolution of HSMAI’s Marketing Strategy Conference and HSMAI ROC. Commercial Strategy Conference: Attendee Demographics

The Commercial Strategy Conference has evolved from the Marketing Strategy Conference and ROC event. Attendees of this event hail from these two industries. In 2023, over 80% of the 800 attendees attended both days of the conference. More information is below.

Marketing attendees are responsible for leading marketing, distribution, and ecommerce for brands, management companies and ownership groups, independent hotels, and resorts. The conference is also of interest to partner companies serving the digital marketing industry, including consultants, technology vendors and companies providing products and services for digital marketing execution and reporting. The 2023 conference held record attendance with 445 attendees. Of the hotel attendees, 75% hailed from the corporate offices of brands, management companies and ownership groups representing 106 unique hotel companies.

Revenue Optimization and Management Attendees are responsible for leading revenue optimization and pricing for brands, management companies, ownership groups, hotels, and resorts. This event is also of interest to partner companies serving the revenue management industry, including consultants, technology vendors and companies providing products and services in revenue management, execution, and reporting. The 2023 conference had 609 attendees. Of the 2023 hotel attendees, 73% hailed from the corporate offices of brands, management companies and ownership groups. In total, 130 unique hotel companies were represented.

ROC Attendee Scholarship

The HSMAI Conference Scholarship Fund directly supports the educational mission of HSMAI by providing access to the conference experience for qualified hotel sales, marketing, and revenue management professionals who otherwise may not be able to attend due to financial or other extenuating circumstances. Each scholarship consists of one complimentary registration to the conference. Your company’s support will make it possible for 10 industry professionals to attend the Revenue Optimization Conference.
